Hi,I am setting off end of next week for Malta via a drop in Genoa and then running down to Livorno to catch the ferry to Malta which leaves next Saturday evening.Does anyone on here know any good truckstops or places to park up in or around Genoa ? Also has anyone used the ferries out of Livorno and if so whats the score at the docks ie.is it easy to find the right quey / terminal ? Thanks for any useful tips…
Cant give you any advise about your run but what a great little trip! Take a camera, keep a diary and when you get post it up on here.
There is always interest in anything different fro the usual Euro stuff. 
Out of interest what are you hauling, general, groupage, Rock and Roll touring, exhibiton stuff or just a one off??
The load is groupage,I will try the diary thing and get some photos.Have done Malta and Sicily before but always overland down through Italy,so its the first time using the ferry which leaves pm Sat.and stops in Palermo Sunday pm,finally arriving Valetta on Monday morning.Good book and a few cold beers will be needed…
Was in Genoa on Fri. Plenty of truckstops on Autostrada nr the city. Take your pick. 
Ferry in Livorno is well signposted and easy to find, plenty of parking close by as well with the town only a short walk away
