Just wondered if there is any one out there that worked for GBE based at Lichfield in the late 80’s early 90’s, around the time they moved from Barton Turns to Fradley.

That was a bit after my time at GBE I work for Alan before GBE when he was based in Shire Yard at Burton he only had three motors then.

I think the longest server at Hilton is 14 years although a couple of the Poole drivers were old GBE
Did hear that some of the old crew had gone with Transalliance, but I moved down to Northampton a few years back and lost touch with everybody

Thats an unusual picture Carl with Transalliance GBE on the curtain. If you look at any modern trailer it will just be Transalliance with the swirl.
The companies still trade as seperate divisions and it is growing like a carbuncle
