I have a Sony eReader and I couldn’t imagine viewing a Map on that.
Is the map in colour and does the kindle ‘read’ it ok? How much?
Welcome to TNUK.
Maps on Kindle work surprisingly well … can zoom and scroll … greyscale only since Kindle isnt colour … a good fallback utility for just over £2 for the 1:1000000 scale (Major roads) and £4 for the 1:250000 scale A+B roads). I believe that a colour version for smartphones will be released shortly. Amazon Kindle store stock the explanatory book for the maps - search for author john fitton
Amazon now have the smartphone and mobile device version of these stand alone maps available
Al versions (Kindle and Smartphone) now available on Amazon. Soon to be released - USA maps.
Now updated Amazon blurb with instruction on how to download and unzip files on a Mac
Minor updates applied to GB road maps - US National Park Maps now available
