the 11th pic of the silver Ergo cabbed Leyland… do you know much about it…?
i think i have only ever seen this truck once and it was a black and white pic… and if i remember rightly it was some sort of proto type gas turbine engine … think it was in the old Kelvin Hall in Glasgow …
Then again i could be completly wrong again…

i think it was the old Scotttish Commerical Vehicle Show at the Kelvin hall the picture that i saw…?

Used to see it back in the early 70s on the M1 beeing tested it went like a train as i remember i think it was going to be Leylands awnser to Volvo and Scania as we can see it did not work i wonder why.

Anyway, I was there last year, great event, it also good to see it is not still the same lorries showing off.
Found these on the ccmv.fotopic.net site.It looks like at sometime the Turbine was out on test with Esso & Shell during the early 70s.
