GARMIN SATNAV & DAF instrument panel

Has anyone come across any issue’s or know of any when driving a DAF and plugging in a GARMIN SATNAV in to the USB connections to charge it ?

eg, making the instrument panel trigger fake/alerts etc ?

In my car I had a cigarette lighter to usb charger plug that stopped the radio working so changed it for a different one. Are you using an adapter or is it straight to the socket in the cab?

Cable straight into the socket in the cab, no adapter used, as everything fine on start checks but once plugged when heading out the gate, started getting seatbelt so ignored, but then 2 minutes later, tire pressure warning, then lane departure warnings and seatbelt constantly on and off then… ■■ maybe was a dodgy truck dash, but they were all false or lane departure and seatbelt was, only thought about it after the event, that it started after plugging in the power for the satnav so just checking if anyone else has had similar.

Garmin have a high speed charger which I use with my Dezl. It has the cig port + 2 USB ports.

Charge the phone and Sat nav, radio etc works fine.

RE the lights on the dash on a DAF- they all do that.

If its like the DAF CF cab there are 2, the one on the drivers side goes through the radio and can be used for playing music etc from a flash drive.

The passenger side as far as I’m aware is just for charging a phone.
