Received another fine SatNav today, this is going to be an interesting review as this is the best of the best. We will see just how good this compares against CoPilot and TomTom.
When this comes up for auction, same offer as before.

Yes it is going to be auctioned off when I have finished the filming, also have a snooper coming next week
It’s ■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■ mate.

A brief, yet insightful review.

Lmao, exactly what I thought!
Maybe I should hold off buying one on that basis
It sounds a very convincing review to me and obviously based upon scientific research and extensive testing. I think he has just copied and pasted that review direct from Garmins web site.
Put up with one for 18 months trampyboy. I would be very surprised if your conclusion doesn’t also include the words dog and ■■■■.

I am hoping it doesn’t but I will see. I have heard great things about it and Garmin is king amongst gps systems.
If i remember correctly it gives you the actual name of the road not the A or B number as your next turn. What ■■■■■■■ use is that when approaching a roundabout?
One of it’s many many faults.

That has been addressed I believe in the updated software, I know it says turn left at the McDonalds and that sort of info which I think is good, but lets see, I am completely unbiased towards it other than have high expectations.
That, traffic and Bluetooth are 3 of the biggies.
Defo worth a read. Interested in anothers take on it.
I will use it for a month to give me time to adjust from CoPilot, I have read a few bad reports, but on the whole everything has been positive. I keep getting a member on here who always appears on any CoPilot thread and simply says “it is ■■■■” Villa I think is the name he goes under. Everyone has different views on Satnavs, but what I always say is that you should not rely on any satnav as a primary navigation tool, you still need to check routes with a map to ensure it is the route you are best taking in relation to bridge heights, A or B roads, weight restrictions and simply general routing. They are not really designed to simply type in an address and just follow, contrary to popular belief. You still need to use traditional driving skills and especially your eyes.
I just took delivery of the Tom Tom Professional 6250 today. I plumped with Tom Tom partly through familiarity and partly tthrough the fact that I’ve not been let down by them previously although admittedly I do look at routes in advance on Google and with a truckers atlas and then cross reference the route on a satnav and amend if needed.
Interested to see how other devices compare though.

How much did you pay for the 6250 mate?

You might be interested to watch this video, you are doing the right thing checking any route that a TomTom offers or any satnav.
