I came accross several articles and pictures of this interesting inventor, entrepreneur, motorboat-builder, racer (who held
the world water speed record on several occasions) and builder of winches, hoists, cranes, coaches/busses and garbage-trucks.
Let’s highlight the nice history of this Detroit-Michigan as well as Windsor-Ontario based company.

Just did some searching next to ex-removal-boxes…and found
an identification-plate demounted from a GMC-truck purchased
by Van Steenbergen, however never did a mile on the road and
been dismantled for parts-sales. Also a 1937 list on factories and
distributors. Quite a number and pay attention to the various
continents the company was represented…Argentina, Australia,
Cuba, England, New Zealand and South Africa, besides Canada.
For the time being…being the only one…
