Will this European system work with all sat navs already on the market?

I have only seen a few posts about Galileo by Neil (Coffeeholic) but haven’t seen a definitive answer as to whether the 2 systems are compatible.

Im thinking of joining the sat nav dark side, but being from Yorkshire I’m counting my pennies wisely :stuck_out_tongue:

I doubt it,

The US system uses the frequencies between 1559 and 1591MHz and the EU’s will be set to standard known as Binary Offset Carrier 1.1

On the plus side the EU’s version will have a more detailed resolution. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
