G Palmer coal merchants query

Hi,

Does anyone have an idea what colour scheme G Palmers coal/coke/clinker merchant lorries used to carry please? As I understand it they were a London based firm I have a picture in the book AEC Trucks in Camera of a AEC Mammoth major 8, and have found this photos also:

However both pictures are black and white. I am guessing being coal wagons they were either black or dark blue perhaps, but if anyone has any photos, or indeed an idea of the colour scheme that would be really helpful.

cheers

Greetings,Scarren. I hope I’m right in saying that the Livery was a Dark Olive Green paint job with the signwriting in a sort of Yellow ochre colour.I think they had a depot in Kingston-on-Thames.With us, on Hall & Co,they used to load Fly Ash out of Battersea Power Station in the early sixties.Hope this helps and is accurate.Regards,900X20.

900s right I remember there place at North woolwich near Cypris Place they had Dark Green cab’s and yellow writing and like a crown logo on the door.
