Funny name plates in windscreens

There used to be one in the Stoke area with “Romping Donkey”. For some reason that always used to make me smile

Tin Tin

Now the bloke who had that in his window sure didn’t look like him. The bloke was 4 sizes bigger then Tin Tin

Perhaps he was from Lancashire, and because of his size his wife was constantly saying “Tin Tin Yet”.

At one time there was a woman driver running about with “Rampant Rabbit” on her motor.

Only just noticed that when I read your post john. Think it may be an old photo, Im pretty sure its open again now, one of our drivers lives on a canal boat near there I’ll ask him.

Name plate can be placed at top center of wind screen if someone is highly interested in it. But think it is not funny but looks very different and innovative. It can be improve by making it transparent. Than name will be looks like engraved on mirror.

Not keen on the plates really but remember years ago seeing a sunstrip. It read…Have wife Must travel.
That made me smile.
