Fuelgrip -----------> A review

I unwrap my Anderson lead and wedge it in. Does the job perfect.

Could even use your hands, there’s a novel idea !! :wink:

need me hands so I can pee up me wheels whilst on the pump

£2 coin cuz I’m Posh.

Think this is a none problem - drivers are generally great at improvising. Best trick I pulled off was fixing the leaking rubber prime button on the fuel-filter head on an LDV Pilot with a condom. Without the condom it would start then air would creep in. It got me home!

Here is a novel idea why don’t the petrol stations properly maintain the pumps and ensure that the fittings are in place to keep the pump flowing seem to manage it well it enough on the continent or would the cost of the wee pin that is required eat into their vast profits and send them all bankrupt overnight

Yes it would as it would require an attendant to fill your vehicle and you would not be allowed to touch the pump.
All self service pumps have the clip on the nozzle removed that attended service garage would have on them. It has nothing to do with maintenance and is everything to do with the petroleum licence a petrol station owner holds for dispensing fuel.

Jumbo paper clip works perfectly

The bottom of a 500ml fizzy pop bottle does the trick for me :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

My hand :neutral_face:

I use adjustable pliers, either that or a large stone or lump of wood.

Problem with that is your gonna be breathing in a serious ammount of diesel fumes each time you fill up which surely can’t be a healthy option.50 pence piece never fails,tried a 2 quidder once and forgot to extract it,very perturbing.

Well in the rest of Europe they seem to manage to fill up without killing themselves seems to be another bit of H & S ■■■

Indeed. However do they do it, they must be very brave.
