what becomes of the fuel they recover ? there must be seizures quite often but youd never know if any was mixed
thats reminded me ,i used to work on a mothballed RAF base and one of the hangars was alarmed and full of cars, bits of cars etc that had been seized by the police, while all the other hangars were empty .recall peaking thru a gap in the doors and could see range rovers Somewhere i read that princess dianas limo car is kept in a similar secure site
An awful lot of converscated, and seized gear is destroyed,and sent to landfill, lots of property is sold thro auction house at opposite ends of the country to were it is seized, there are also local property auctions at police stations,…
When I was on Tankers we’d go to a place at Swindon and collect seized spirits that were mixed together and loaded onto our tanks, we’d then take it to SRM in Sunderland where it was processed into chemfuels for cement works such as Dunbar or Ketton. Seized beer went to pig farmers (I’m assuming to be fed to the pigs, not the farmers).
A lot of back slapping going on there and they had to get a dig in about the tizer. There will be even more tizer too now there’s no bushes to pee in, but yes better than nothing I suppose

I reckon it was a fair dig though wasn’t it?
Those dirty bastds who leave their crap lying around instead of disposing of it responsibly don’t exactly do the rest of us any favours, do they? .
It doesn’t apply to or help me anyway,.I wouldn’t overnight in a lay by adjacent to a busy road if they paid me…I’ve too much imagination and initiative to do so.
