Found this in the Oxford mail last night and thought I better share it .
If my lorry was filled with petrol I’d be grateful for thieves emptying the tank. It’d certainly save me an embarrassing phone call to the boss.
In seriousness it typifies the lazy journalism nowadays that is so prevalent.
Those laybys used to be notorious for all kinds of illegal activity.

+1 When the local council changed the bin collections around the local rag reported that the lorries would be doing less trips to the tip, saving on the costs of petrol for the lorries

Maybe they syphthoned a tanker of petrol…would need a few jerry cans mind
