Your lucky you wer sleeping… This happened to me at Foxhill 6yrs ago and had a knife stuck to my throat whilst the [ZBs] had away with my fuel … Once they started to roll barrel away I jumped back in cab and tried to run the ■■■■■■ over but they got away… Then spent 6hrs in cop shop giving statement and looking thru photo fits (to no avail) car had false plates on as well …coppers took my clothing and lorry away for DNA on clothes and fingerprints on lorry ( lol lucky wasn’t my lorry for DNA they’d find loads lol) as was a armed robbery… Both had Irish ■■■■■ accents… From that day on I’ve always carried personal protection ( no not condoms)

If they Wong pay for you to park somewhere secure or semi secure then its there look outThat’s not really a very good excuse for parking in fuel theft hot spot now is it!
And I suggest any driver that parks around Scunthorpe should watch a programme called SKINT on channel 4, and you may just realise it may not be who you think it is draining fuel there!
Didn’t know you could inject diesel for a fix, all towns and cityies has its hotspots for theft, Scunny isn’t the only place. Just as a point of interest was the truck parked near the tenfoot

Me too, but it never comes out the cab as that’s when you could land yourself in all sorts of trouble.
did anyone ever lost fuel at the red lion truckstop layby or the layby in snodland???i took a shower in the red lion yesterday and carried on to tesco snodland,parked in the layby and went to bed.when i got up i could smell fuel so i check tanks and every thing was ok.checked gauge and it was down.i think the only got the small tank because there was still about 700l left…
The tacho rules do not apply if you are being robbed.Who says you have to stay put and later the robbers come back to do something worse.
