At various times in the past Commercial Motor have run group tests, for example, artics, tippers etc and run different makes over the same route etc. but can I find them on the CM website archive?
Anyone have any clues on where I might find some proper fuel consumption comparisons? I’m interested in Euro 6.
Failing that - does anyone have any mixed marque fleet comparisons of their own? I’m buying new, and looking at Renault, Daf and Scania.

I doubt CM have done a euro 6 fuel comparison yet, I stand to be corrected.
Scania are just too expensive now to be looked at in the same breath as Renault or Daf. They are better wagons in my opinion but not x grand better.
I’d have a Daf out of your short list unless you’re minted in which case go Scania then Volvo/Merc or Daf.
I haven’t heard anything moody about the new Renault range T. I’d have one if you’re on a budget or look at Iveco/MAN as well if your wallet can’t take the fashion.
DAF Merc Volvo Iveco Man Renault would be my order of choice
