After only having one fuel card was finally given DKV card but no book where their sites are, am shipping out of pompey tonight to caen and low on diesel, anyone know the closest DKV site to Caen. Have got eurodiesel card but 1st site is at alencon and wont make that.
Go into their website and go to diesel then station finder.
Almost all garages take either DKV or UTA.
It is more like a credit card and there is a book but you are honestly better off without it.
Make sure you have a PIN or you will need to show your passport at each stop
If you got a Tom Tom there’s a POI for them. 
Thanx for the help guys, have got a tom tom and found poi, did look at dkv site aswell 
dont trust that poi too much when you off the motorway. Followed it in denmark to the nearest garage which turned out to be a housing estate so had to hunt around for a garage that would take it, fairly easy to find though
im sure the one near the supermarket takes all cards but you need the pin its just round corner from the boat aswell
