Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask but is there anybody on here that works for FTX or knows of anyone that does?
I’ve read all the bumpf on their website and anything else I can find, but, I’d still like to speak to someone to pick their brains about the job.

I to have tried to get someone to give inside info on this, however only get general stuff which is publicly available. I’m a bit surprised that no one can provide detailed info on day to day activities, pay etc. I’m just about to apply myself. If I’m able I’ll provide a diary on here and hopefully provide others with what they need.
Went for an assessment with these a few years ago, so here’s what I remember.
You are employed by FTX Logistics on a salary of about £21,000 pa. When you’re not driving the transporters, you will be hired to Driver Hire. Your pay stays the same so expect the crappiest jobs that no self respecting freelance or agency driver would touch with a barge pole. To be a transporter driver you have to become a sponsored reservist in the Territorial Army with all the aptitude and fitness tests that that entails. Your money is made up by a tax free allowance (about £7k pa) and they don’t try and hide the fact that you will be going on operational duties.
When I went, 98% of the candidates were all ex army trying desperately to get back in so the actual job and salary didn’t matter to them. I worked out that I would only be driving the large transporters for about 3- 6 weeks per year and the rest of the time, I would be an agency driver on a very, very poor wage.
So there you have it. Join FTX, become an agency driver and get shot at, or do what I did and get a proper job!
