Frozen Crane levers?

Hi There.

Wondering if any of you have the same problem this last week with the frozen weather.

The levers on our tipper /grab dual controlled Epsilon / Palfinger have been a right pain one day this week it took till 3pm to unfreeze them!

It seems that the real problem is probably the offside lever cables? Possibly over time got rain water inside them somehow and they link to the nearside lever block which is hydraulic these cables do sit in a dip on route to the hydraulic side but we have disconnected from the hydraulic side and poured methanol and wd40 into them but still they freeze up again in an hour this weather.

We cant seem to diconnect the cables from the offside block as Palfinger in their wisdom have built the metal safety protection operator cage around it and would need some cutting and rewelding to take these cables off completely a right nitemare because ideally these cables want taking off and hanging and drying and relubicating in the workshop.

Has anyone had trouble with their frozen levers this week any idea for a quick mend, tried also a heat gun takes forever and still refreezes again quickly.

Thank you
