Paid a salary (around £18000) and the rest is made up on nights out and load bonus as far as I’m aware. I’ve a few wagons based near me and they all seem happy enough with their job. They seem to get the best jobs to help then keep their wages topped up so 4-6 loads a day isn’t unheard of. I think the southern lads (Sandy, Diss, Andover) are more long distance than the ones based up here in Yorkshire. Where are you from?
Andover there is a job going here, ive emailed them just waiting for a reply on wages and how many nights out and such, thought id ask on here aswell.
Moneys is diffrent month to month then.
the yorkshire ones come upto northeast scotland in the harvest time and haul into newmacher or maltings

May be 2 out of 7 do the ocasional night out at Diss !!! The rest don’t start much before 07.00 n parked up before 17.30 then moan that subbies get work that there to bone idle to do !!!
