Front facing camera

Was wondering if these are any good to any of you mirrorreaderoffers.co.uk/ite … -recorder/

ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5-6-LED-270 … 257417d27d

It’s a lot cheaper via above link for the same thing although I have tried using personally wouldn’t bother If you have a smartphone download play.google.com/store/search?q=autoboy+blackbox

Personally i don’t think you can beat the Roadhawk, cost more but you get what you pay for and it won’t let you down.

Same camera available on fleabay for half the price!

I have the same camera from ebay and it was £12. Its very good and does the job. You need a SD card. Showed one to a comapny I. Temp work for and they have bought them for the fleet. DON’T pay £49

i got mine off e-bay, £16. exactly the same camera. how can they say it should be £99?!

All ours already fitted with a forward camera keeps insurance down :bulb:

I also have one of these and they are great value, question I have is I bought a 16 g sd card for it and what Im after knowing is when the card is full it just stops recording saying memory full. I have then been switching it off and then back on and it starts recording again, is this what you have to do or should it just keep recording over itself and I have it set it up wrong? Thanks

When memory is at capacity, the camera will automatically re-record over
the oldest file.

How well do these do recording at night? Seriously considering one for work.

ive got a 32g card in mine, ive set it to max record time of 15mins, once the card is full it automatically starts recording again.

Theyre not brilliant at night, but not too bad considering the price. In daylight you can read a numberplate clear as a bell, amazing quality recording.

they have infra red and work pretty well. Certainly better than nothing at all. I am very pleased with it.

I have an 8gb card in mine and it re writes after about an hour and 20 minutes. I also carry a second card in my rucksack in case anything happens and I would whip the card out to ensure I dont lose the footage. You can set it to just re write.

I have uploaded an example from last week.

its a boring vid but shows you the quality and certainly would show what happened in an emergency.

got one off ebay for £18, i have a 16gb card in mine, if you switch the video quality from HD to VGA the quality is still good but it almost doubles the recording time on the card

Mine seems to stop and say memory full on the viewing screen? I’ll have to take a look.

Ask your insurance company, many are providing them F.O.C.
