From mortar to concrete

Well, the plant I contract at is shutting down and looks like my employer are going to put me on the concrete.

What can I expect?

I’ve been told potentially longer days but lots of sitting around. Also that it’s generally easier (although I’m wondering as filling tubs couldn’t be much easier tbh).

Also that there’s less rushing about than on the mortar - I can believe this as currently I have my work printed the night before and know I’m finished when I’ve done it all, as opposed to getting unforeseen calls to deliver more concrete.

I actually really enjoyed working on the mortar so hope this won’t disappoint.

Its like mortar but there will be stones in it .

You will have to drive in muddier conditions doing founds , driving along and tipping at the same time like kerping with semi dry and of coarse the mixer mans favourite, wheel barrow jobs.
