Friendberry homestudy operators cpc

Hi

Hoping someone will have used the friendberry operators cpc study material, im looking for your experience of using as im potentially going to use it to train for my operators cpc. Could you let me know how you found it what it was like to learn from, was it value for money, did you pass using it etc etc.

thanks for any experience or advise

I didnt realise they were still going, I used them about 30 years ago to do my International CPC , it was easy to do and if I recall I had to do a mock exam most weeks and send them to be marked , if I recall correctly the CPC exam was 1 .50 hours , I did it in 10 minutes and passed.

Edit to add : it was the home study course I did , not the residential which they used to do a Pontins/Butlins holiday camp out of season

Yes used them a couple of years ago, very good study material.
I did the course in Somerset with them and passed both National and International first time.
It was the classroom study 10 days, and you will get suicidal after 3 days, but if you past that point you steamed straight on to a succesfull exam.
I found when listening to people who failed that a lot brought to much luggage with them, i mean i heard a lot, yes but we don’t do it that way etc.
In the exam they only want to know what is in the books, there not interested one second in your intrepetation.
People who correct the exams are not working in Transport or in Transport law, most are teachers and admin people.
The best way is to empty your head of what you know or think you know, and than fill in again with the information of the study.
I found Friendberry extremely helpfull, well prepared and would defiantly use them again if i went the PSV route instead of HGV.
Good Luck!
