Fridge/ Freezer box internal dimensions

Quick query for you

Does anyone know approximate internal dimensions of a fridge & freezer box on an 18T chassis?
I appreciate there are a lot of different bodies out there but is there a reasonably standard size?

We normally get one for free for an event we run but the company can’t supply one but will cover the cost of us hiring.
I’d like to be able to compare prices of hiring one for a couple of weeks or getting a couple of trailer based units that were bigger and easier to access.

Welcome to the forum!

Maximum legal width is 2600mm for fridge trailers, normally find internal width is around 2400mm which means you can put two Chep pallets width ways across the body!

You’ll find with smaller bodies on 7.5 tonners internal width is only 2200mm
