Yes you need to use ice packs with the igloo.
wouldn’t you then need to buy a freezer for the truck also 
kind of defeats the object don’t it
He means if you put frozen ice packs in on Monday, they’ll still be frozen on Friday.
i use this one … holds plenty, works good and dont cost much … sorted
