Friday 13 was a bad day for me as well
Lost job as was told cant go in to main depot we load from due to some people in there back stabbing & sending a message saying for me to go in somewhere only staff are allowed ( told them I couldnt & wouldnt as was banned from that area ) so damed if I do damed if I dont think I have al the daggers out of my back now
A few other things went wrong but hey that is life
So now looking for another job
Join the club mate. People, there’s nothing worse, I gave up busses so I could deal with less of them, seemed for every 100 people I dealt with on the busses, 10 were nobs, arses or worse. In trucking, seems like late 80’s out of every hundred, and more if you include management.

Some crap days there but lets face it none as bad as the Captain of the Costa Concordia. Imagine being ultimately responsible for that pickle.
I was booked on it but I got delayed by a police checkpoint so just missed it by minutes.
Wayne, the first part of my last post was directed to coffee not to you, me being vague again.

Anyone know German that can translate the contents of that article?
My guess is that he lost his trailer and didn’t realise until 40KM up the road.

Basically, the extension bar at the end of the A frame ruptured and the drag, loaded with 12 tons of steel tubing, said bye bye on the Autobahn. The driver only noticed 40 kms later. (WTF
)
Luckily, the trailer came to a safe halt on the hard shoulder due to the brakes automatically activating and nobody was injured.
