Thats the link we put in the Euro drivers Info Point, mate.

We did it so that all the useful links, like that one, were all in one easily accessible place.

we’ve had this before. people being sent to a link that is for cars, not trucks.

Yes that may be - but aren’t the motorways lovely, clean embankments, loads of lay-bys to have a rest, “FREE” service areas, good food in their restaurants, that Chauffeur Routiers get a discount on the price, need I go on ?

Discount of 25% for driver meals on autoroute. One of them is Autogrill.Would prefer coming off the toll road, and find a Routier on the national road.Lot of Customs checks, sometimes 3 to 4 times a week on a trip,if you ask for a receipt,to say you got stopped,it dont matter to the next control point on the peage, they search you again, and have moble xray scanners all over France.Fast bikes may ■■■■■■ you off the motorway, with blue lights flashing,to search the truck, you do get used to it.If waiting for a ferry, they will take you about 12 kms away,in Le havre, and wont care if you miss the booking,to the xray scanner near the big bridge.Best to be polite, they all speak good English.
