Free fruit

trampyjoe:
Fruit would be a bad idea… it contains far too much sugar (and dont believe the hype about it being ‘good sugar’, there’s no such thing, too much fruit will make you fat).

Free veg would be a better idea.

too much of anything will make you fat

too much exercise can kill ya too

but anyfruit i have seen in a service station is either way past it best and rotten or it’s been fondled so much its bruised too bits

Didn’t someone come up with a similar idea about 100 yrs ago
think they called it green shield stamps
anyone fancy reinventing the wheel

I think it would be great to be fit to even buy fruit in a service without paying over the top for it.so yes I would love the odd bit of fruit free.now in saying that I do load fruit and veg for home and somehow some of it does manage to make its way into my cab… I do nights out and iI carry a box of my cooking stuff/food.there is all sorts in it.I always carry guns of fruit cocktail/grape pieces and other tinned fruit.its makes a great b/fast or handily snack. Now don’t get me wrong I am over weight and I do love my fry ups but I would hate to think what size I would be if I didn’t make cut backs here and there on the fatty foods

How about taking fruit with you? I know I do. It lasts all week if you go to aldi or lidl. Other supermarkets take too long to tip you, so the produce can’t be as fresh.
