Choose your choice,in a regular of large cup, then add one or two shots of expresso for free in the cup you are paying for, they can`t see you doing with your back to the till.
Yes, but the CCTV camera probably can.
WTF Are you on?
Whoops.

Caffeine innit
Those Coffee Nation machines are the best. Put a reg cup under the spout. Press for the free extra shot and press large. The large measure fits into a regular cup, saving a few bob in the process!
Better still call into a Toolstation, all tea and coffee is free , just look through the catalogue whilst drinking it!

Bit off the beaten track though!

^+1 the old ones are the best.
You’re paying for it so it’s not free at all!
- Give the cashier your fuel card.
- Fuel up.
- If the garage is busy, make a Costa coffee.
- Bring it to the till and sign for the fuel.
- Walk out.
Or just make one and sip it while you potter about browsing all the overpriced tat while your 15/30 minute break on the pump finishes.

The times I’ve argued that point is not even funny, I want a large coffee, not a regular coffee in a large cup FFS, it really gets my goat and I quite often get managers involved, pouring a ‘large’ coffee into a medium cup and pointing out that they’re ripping me off, I often get them free after pointing that out
This is a good idea, there are some DOT run rest areas here that give free coffee to any drivers stopping, it cuts down in sleeping at the wheel and saves lives.

The JJ Beano coffe machine in Bothwell Services is like that. Press for a large latte and it only fills a third of a large cup. At first I thought I had selected an Espresso by mistake, but no!!! It takes 3 attempts to fill your cup. Perhaps its faulty but more likely its set up that way to con you.

Spot-on. Which is why I’ve been the judge of what constitutes a full cup since the day these machines were introduced.
The machines do no give you a full cup,as above posters have said,Trading Standards, weights and measures act, when served a pint, and it is not full, they are obliged to top it up for what you have paid for a full pint.

It’s true, I could never understand why Trading Standards (that’s before VOSA, kids) would get so upset when I came in at 14 or 15 tonne on the drive axle. Surely I was giving more and not trying to short-change the taxpayer?
Not allowed to take off your route to their weighbridge, has to be a certain amount of mileage away, not sure how many, someone will know.
