Framptons fatal Rtc.Trowbidge

The poluce have said the car was on the wrong side of the road for 35 metres and no skid marks.
The bend where it happened has enough of a wide viewing point to see if a heavy was coming around the bend and there is slope where he would have seen the roof of the cab and trailer from quite far giving him time to floor it.
Plus the Road Hawk camera has it captured too.

Rhythm Thief:

Overdrive Olly:
Yes, it was a suicide following a murder.

So much easier than the other way around.

Strangely enough, the police have been investigating two bodies found buried under the patio of their house in Mansfield, it took them a week to admit it could be suspicious. It has now turned into a murder inquiry :stuck_out_tongue:

Derf:
The coroner ruled it as suicide, and no doubt he/she would have a lot more evidence than what has been reported.

How? You can’t have a verdict when a case has been opened and adjourned

The Frampton driver was back at work on monday. He has a white hired Daf space cab and for a while had the driver trainer to accompany him.Better to get back in the saddle after falling off the horse.
If took time off then maybe never drive trucks again. All his pocessions in the cab were not allowed to be retrieved. So stuff like bedding, maps, sat nav, ratchet straps,Adr kit and so on.
Vehicle could be in the compound for a year with a full load on too.
But why was the car driver in Trowbidge at 6.15 am heading South.Down to TNUKCSI to answer that one.

Running away from the scene of the crime?

I wouldn’t speculate on why what happened happened. that will no doubt come out in time.

But I would ask anyone who knows him to pass on my best wishes to the Frampton driver, and hope that his employer and colleagues are offering him all the support and friendship that they can.

If you’ve ever been in a situation like that, you will know that one of the worst things is that people avoid you because they don’t know what to say to you.

The reality is, that you don’t have to say much, or anything.

Just a hand on the shoulder, a 'Good to see you back," or just “If you want anything let me know, if I can help I will,”

makes all the difference.

Don’t forget that this kind of thing happens to drain drivers all the time. Not to lessen the effect, but it’s true. I think tube drivers etc get special training to deal with it. And don’t forget that the Northern Line tube disaster was a suicide by the train driver, no-one else.

All i can say (without hijacking this issue) is that when it happened to me, i was in hopsital for 3 months and i had to learn to walk again (right leg/foot broken in 24 places) and even now, nearly 15 years later I am still a little nervy about oncoming traffic when driving on single carriageways.

For the Framptons driver, he is doing the best thing, getting back in the saddle with a driver trainer, as he will slowly come to terms with it in his own mind, whils receiving the support of fellow drivers If all his colleagues welcome him in the polite manner we all should, without being too inquisitive, he will feel part of the truck driver community and get back to his daily activities. With assistance from his employers, I am sure that he will continue his career in a highly productive way.

The fire brigade did not cut open the car to remove the dead man.The car was taken away with the body still inside.
I thought they got bodies out at the scene so that is new for me.It would have been an awful thing to see and people watching as nothing to stop anyone walking through the open fields to film the activities on their phones to put on the internet.

Is there a video out there of this? It wouldn’t surprise me, that’s how low people have sunk.
