The parent company / owner of Culina is Herr Muller of the yogurts fame.
Indeed. Has a history of hoovering up companies.
Theo Müller (Group) owns Culina, Optipack, Fahrzeugtechnik Aretsried (transport), Muller Naturfarm (fruit processing company), Nordsee (German sea food restaurant chain iirc). In recent times they’ve swept up Robert Wiseman dairies, Dairy Crest dairies and now Fowler Welch. Theo is worth about $5.2bn and the company has an annual revenue of approx $6.5bn
.
Warrens@ Rugby and Robson Chilled@ Spalding too not to mention MorganMcClernon at home here in NI.
Probably has eyes on Boardall’s, Newcold, Arla and Yew Tree as well then
.
Arla might be a bit of a stretch for them though size wise, plus they are a co operative which might cause takeover problems

Speaking of Fowler Welch, does anyone here work for them on artics? I’ve unexpectedly just been offered a job there
and it’s better money than what I’m currently on, albeit further to travel to. Is it micro-management central, with spy-in-the-cab and dismissal for not walking between painted yellow lines, type place, or are you left alone?
@Spalding worth going to for “eye candy” in traffic office alone!!!

Muller haven’t owned Dairy Crest since last year. Saputo bought Dairy crest.
In fact I don’t think Muller ever owned Dairy Crest outright, they bought parts of the Dairy Crest business on the milk side, and I seem to remember my mate telling me about yoplait some time back but can’t remember the details.
But Saputo did buy Dairy Crest PLC last year.
