Has anyone ever been maxed out on their last week, i.e. 56 hours driving, only to start for a new employer the next week and have to tell them you can only do 34 hours driving? Not happened to me, but it’s a realistic possibility isn’t it?
It’s happened to me in my freelance capacity, max one week for one customer so limited the next for another. To be honest most companies will understand this sort of thing does happen and it does at least show a new employer that you are careful with complying with the law
Obviously done because your leaving…its a loss loss whatever way you look at it…reduce hours for your last employer…lose hours on pay…or reduce hours for your new employer, they will only pay you for the 34 hours you can legally work…but lets hope theyre more sympathetic.
