Doesn’t this job sound mighty tempting…Welcome to GOV.UK

Hi Muz,

Just tried the web address and it goes to a DWP search page, what are we searching for m8?

Can you copy it in as a link too?

I’m not very PC literate, how can i send it as a link?

Muz, go to the web page you want, go to the top address bar and click on the bar to highlight it, right mouse click and copy.

Go to your TN post and click in the space for writing in and right mouse click and paste, then press tab, continue writing if you want and when you submit the post the web address will come up as a link to select.

Hope this helps m8.

I know I’m slightly hi-jacking the thread but look at this job —

It even claims “Competetive Rates Of Pay”

…and they want you to prepare for nights out plus deliveries in UK & Europe for what could be as low as £5 p/h CLASS 1

Yeti what job as all the fields are not filled out so sorry try again please.

When CM wrote “go to the web page you want”, he should have explained a little further.
What he meant to say was, ‘go to the web page you want to do a link to’. When highlighting the address, start at the http and sweep your cursor over to the right hand end of the address box and wait till the address box stops scrolling, ensuring that everything in the address box is highlighted.

For some reason when you first click on the link it takes you to a page where all the ‘fields’ are blank. Close the screen, then click on the link again and it works. Weird :unamused: , I know. But when you put your mouse pointer over the link it display the full correct path at the bottom of the screen,… it does for me anyway.

Here’s the “cut & paste” :

Gallaghers run bent as [ZB] too. I know a guy who works for them called Graham - drives a Topliner and does Europe.

So who’s gonna be first to phone them up for a job then ?

No problem mate  , we can’t all get it spot on every time. I dropped rather a large clanger myself, tonight :open_mouth: :. Hopefully someone sees the problem and either sorts it or gets it sorted out. Which hopefully keeps everyone happy :sunglasses: .

Thanks for all the tips but it still won’t link the whole address…anyway, the job was Class 1 nationwide, delivering meat up to 25KG, would be expected to do labouring duties in the factory when there is no driving to do…£5.50 per hour
