then we would have to all just buy British…Oh no that wouldn’t work because the parts coming from Europe would stop coming and we wouldn’t be able to make anything, unless they build a load of Groupage warehouses at all the ports of entry for these Foreign trucks to deliver to .
As much as you might not like it the UK need these foreign trucks as much as the UK needs any trucks,
i have a love hate relationship about vosa, but some of them are idiots, and especially to us drivers who drive for european companys, if they have more common sence about things instead of rules, im not saying let everybody go but just mostly concentrating on the serious things, i think they are getting too much power now, and very petty.
My experience with Vosa as an Englishman driving for an Irish company well known to Vosa is that a cheery hello and a smile goes a long way. Treat them like crap and you’ll get grief back. They have let me off many minor offences that I’ve known other drivers get done for. Nobody likes getting stopped but it’s just part of the job, so just take it with good humour.
