this old nail is still working, powering the car crusher at my local scrapyard…
some would say best place for it… 
I loved um, had a brand new custom cab with 360 turbo in it, then a new custom cad with a ■■■■■■■■ in it, was good in it’s day after some of the rubbish I had been driving.
This one is still on the road and delivering fruit and veg. This picture was taken by me in Watling Street Cafe. 
it looks awful… like something out of a stephen king horror movie.

when i passed my rest in 1970,my father bought on of these d800 for me to drive.
i wish he were alive to see this photo,
when the truck was 3 months old,i bent the bumper on a tight building site,
he went crazy.
if he were alive now,he would have me going for the nice straigh bumper on the one in the pic.
its the first thing i noticed.
the rest of the truck is a liitle tired though…its a pity.
