Saw this in a yard in Thurrock last week.
bit of paint and it would be as good as new.

Stobarts had a load of them as Drawbars I think
stobarts had them as units as well.
They were never my cup of tea but there are two 1989 G reg 6 wheelers with ■■■■■■■ L10 engines still working hard out of the quarry where I was employed. One has been owned from new by the same owner/operator, the beauty of them is that a set of alloys and bingo, you have a payload of 17.90 tonnes! Not many new trucks can match that.

Hi Mick. I suppose it would be possible but the quarry is 12 miles from me and one of the wagons is from the Derby area. I will see what I can do, I can’t go in the quarry anymore as although I worked there for 27 years you now need a certificate of safety card which I don’t have. Health and safety, the biggest growing industry!!!
