Whether or not you believe the hype about all this Covid stuff, people are dying with this.EFA.
Ok, …Not sure what that means, but there you go.
Sorry Rob, it means edited for accuracy, ie. the MSM and governments are doing everything they can to inflate the figures to make CV19 look worse than seasonal 'flu so they can justify the infinite lockdown. Even with all the number fudging they’re still well short. There have been numerous news articles and videos exposing this shennanigans where doctors have even gone on record stating that they’ve been told to put the cause of death as CV19 even if the patient died of cancer, but was suspected (note: not confirmed) as possibly having had CV19. Over in the USA, doctors are incentivised to put the cause of death as CV19 as they get paid a substantial sum to do so. The whole thing is a complete scam. Please DYOR research as you won’t see this being reported through the MSM for obvious reasons. Not sure you’re as cynical as you claim to be if you’re still believing the official government spiel after all this time but that’s your prerogative.

Yep, watched (a lot of) it.
They sound two knowledgable level headed doctors, and their opinions sound convincing.
On the other hand (if I could be arsed to look,) I bet there are vids of two different expert doctors that would give a whole opposite point of view and opinion.
And there lies the problem of who and what to believe on all this.
From my own personal pov, It’s a bit like betting, you put a few quid on the favourite, but you see that 100/1 outsider, and also put a few quid on that, to guarantee a profit and/or reduce your risk.
So that’s exactly what I’m doing, open mind, and hedging my bets.
I’ve even kept my Mrs in over the last few weeks, thinking ‘‘don’t want her to get it, rather I did,’’ so off to the shops…how irrational is that ffs ?
I’ve gone from 99% ‘‘nowt to worry about’’ thinking this is ’ just the flu’ , then to watching that report from Italy that completely changed my mind at the time, , to now (about 65/35 on the ‘take it seriously’ side.)
But like I said, not prepared to go back the other way completely for now, being a family man, with kids and young grandkids, and thinking …What could happen if I’m wrong’
I’m totally head ■■■■ ed about it all if I’m honest.
Btw sorry if I’ve turned this into another Covid thread.
Would not want to share a cab with ANY ■■■■, covid pandemic or not.
dont be a prick, health service staff have died with this virus helping people, may be one who was helped was a in a truck then spread it all over the place family .work fuel up, customers ,plod if you get a pull …dont do it the gov would not be doing this if there was a chance it was false info.
Watched the link and came to the conclusion that the man is a Yank and like so many things the subject is just too much for them to take in since words of more than one syllable are involved. Hardly surprising when they let a complete moron run the country.

Be careful Mister, that’s hate speech now.

Are you in a union? Have you spoken to the health and safety executive? No way should you be sharing a cab, and as for the argument of give and take, is that you potentially give your life while your boss takes the money?
There are alot of company’s that drives doubleman or have drivers mates with them.
At our place we clean cabs before we use them and have face masks if we want them. Me, I got them same drivers mate all time some others dont. It helps if you know the person you sharing cab with.

One positive from this is you don’t have to double/triple man the cabins on ferries anymore

We never have done on Hull-Zebe or Hull- Rotterdam.
The days of 4 to a cabin on the Poole Cherbourg night freighter Are long gone.
I was one of 3 in a cabin a few months ago from rosslare to pembroke, the previous boat was cancelled due to weather. Done trips Portsmouth to Bilbao both directions 2 per room and the Sunday evening boat didn’t get there till Tuesday morning so you had a couple of evenings with your new mate ha.

Unless you’re unfortunate enough to have to use the worst crossing on the Irish Sea, Belfast to Birkenhead was 4 to a cabin last Sunday night
Absolute disgrace luckily we don’t use that crossing, but they have always treated drivers badly on that crossing and it would appear that Covid 19 isn’t going to change that, all other Irish Sea crossings are one to a cabin. Stena should be ashamed but greed comes before health.
That is ridiculous, only done it once on a Sunday night and shared with one person. I’m sure that crossing was 7hrs or more. We use Irish ferries 99% of the time, they have been fine. The first time during the new rules on Ulysses it took me a while to find the food as they have closed the drivers lounge and you use the main restaurant, a note on the lift just said drivers lounge closed so my stomach got worried ha
I have shared a cabin of four , and it’s absolutely horrible , if you like smelly cheesy feet , bad BO , a driver with a skin condition or ■■■■■ and snores all night , then fill your boots , plus the heat in the cabin of four hairy ■■■ truck drivers .
Some may participate in the late night bar and disco and come in the cabin late and make a noise .
For some reason on the BF routes to Bilbao and Santander I had a cabin to myself but not on Cherbourg /Le Havre/ Dieppe and Ouistreham .
I would sleep in the lorry below deck , pull the split curtains in the cab and hop in before the crew see you and if they bang the door , stay still .
The negative points are nobody knows you are down there , risk of fire or a chemical/gas leak from ADR freight , ( But mostly they are on the top deck in open air .)
Ship engine fumes will make you drowsy and nauseous for a long drive .
For the double manning issue , Trump says drink or inject bleach or put Jeyes fluid in the cab and other driver .
Demand a government screening test for both of you and add it on to your daily checks in the morning

No HR at my firm. Small outfit.
Owner is hands on and drives a truck himself as well.
Walk or work are the only options.
I’ve worked. So has everyone else to be fair.
Just glad to have a job at the moment.Same at the place I’m working at. Just get on with it. Too many snowflakes these days hiding under their beds waiting to die from the deadly killer virus. /s
Good luck to the pair of you, only hope you don`t get the virus, but if you do remember the words you have posted on here.
HSE is the place to go if you need advice on what to do and a Solicitor and Industrial Tribunal if you get the sack.
