There are several ladies who visit this board regularly and really enjoy the LGV world. There are however many that may fancy having a go but perhaps have doubts.
On Sunday this week I started a course with Annabel who, to be honest was doing Cat C to drive a horsebox. She was only 18 in June and had passed her car test less than a year ago. She couldn’t train on Wednesday due to a funeral and had a 8.15am test this morning.
Naturally nervous we met at 6 and arrived at 8.12 for the test. An hour later a pass with only 2 faults and one was for taking a reverse shunt.
Ladies, there is nothing to stop you achieving this. If only the lads would listen as closely…sometimes

I’ve just booked my theory and HP for October and I’m really looking forward to it all. I can’t wait to get to drive a lorry. I’m impatient, but at this rate it really will be Christmas!

I found that it could be a bit of a wait, you might want to book up your mod 2 CPC, as this has the same sort of wait time, save you passing everything then needing to do the CPC tests and waiting another 30-60 days to take the test.
Good for you tho it takes some time but its all good when you get the licence in for hand
