For you scania fans

this popped up in my facebook feed

Was it sponsored by IKEA…?

Nah, Volvo, just to show how ridiculous it looks :open_mouth:

I can appreciate the craftsmanship in it, but bugger me that is ugly as sin…

:open_mouth: Who exactly would have that abortion in their front room. On my weekend off the last thing I want to sit looking at is a ■■■■ truck,…and I like Scanias btw.
It’s bad enough sat in there watching Newcastle lose most weeks.

Its not even a v8 :unamused:

+1 I said the same to my girlfriend when she saw it on Facebook

I think this would be awesome if it had an electric motor or two and the whole house was modified so you could drive it about.

Other than then…

Best ones were the 3 series. as in Robroy’s avatar. Scania went downhill after that…
Look at their 16 litre motor V8. Heard no end of horror stories there…

That V8 block was originally a British concept by AEC.

Whatever next?

Wonder if he switches the fridge off at night?

a common misconception, but i’m afraid the aec v8 has nothing whatsoever to do with the Scania version

It sure is, it’ s a Harry Vos Dutch spec but I agree the 3 series was a bloody good truck especially the 143 450 I had.

btw I also always thought there was a Leyland connection with Scania originally.

Wouldn’t be the type of thing I’d want in my place, but bloody hell there’s been some work gone into it. :open_mouth:

Got to admire the skills to make that, not to everyone’s taste but credit to the craftsman.

Could use it to keep chickens in round the back garden lol.
