just so you are aware the weight limit on the Thames Wytham bridge just after the Peartree junction is now C&U only (44 tonne) the Cat 1 65 tonne allowance has now been removed the alternative route is easy, off at Peartree and follow the Ring road past the A40 and BMW to rejoin the A34 at Hinksey all Cat 2 and Cat 3 should be using that anyway

I know all route planning should be done by planners but is there anywhere online that a driver can check if a particular bridge / structure/ road is suitable (before seeing the weight limit signs :unamused: :grimacing: )
