as most people on here know, i’m not a scania fan, i think the one in the original post is fugly, way too over the top with stainless, and also way overpriced
i think this one is much better looking truck and more reasonably priced, although, still too much for an 11 year old truck

now forgive me if im wrong, but if a tacho head stops working (cos its broke, not deliberatly so the driver can run ‘on the wire’ 
), im led to beleive that it must be replaced with a digi-card tacho, not an analouge tacho.
i had a new tacho head fitted to an 03 plate superspace 12 months ago, the original one was missing when i bought the truck, it was a reconditioned anologue tacho head, fitted by a main dealer (i supplied the tacho head)
so, dunno about that one, nobody said anything when it was fitted
