bobthedog The slide show works just fine. Next time before you put them on the web page you could smarten them up a bit. Open the album in Picasa /Click onto the first snap to enlarge it/ then go to basic fixes/ press straighten & you can toggle until the skyline is straight/ Press I`m Feeling Lucky& that will sort the colour + light out/ Go to Effects / Press sharpen & that will give you clearer picture…To go to the next snap there are arrows top right of the page & with these you can go back & fowards…& with the Web snaps you can always add captions if you feel the need to…
Hope this helps…
I tried some of the fixes on others and they work well, but these are big files and I thought I would leave them authentic and cr*ppy. The desert doesn’t look too serious, does it, but it was awfully hot. In Vegas, the lot lizards ply their trade on the CB. Really funny.
Heyup. I am glad Terry is back with Thompsons. They missed him, you know.
Got to go in a bit. Edmonton is calling. I will take the camera this time.
Take it easy ,Bob. Remember with all that work we put into the photos ,at the end of the day it dont exactly pay the rent…Unless we start charging admission,?
The only trouble with that picasa is that it takes every picture you have ever downloaded and stores it. I have thousands and thousands and it was still loading them while I was trying to do that album. I will take more of where I am going and will see how it works out.
Maybe I’ll try to do some improvements on the next one I am starring in.
What you can do is uninstall Picasa & download it fresh again. Then when it asks if you want to collect pics I think you have two choices. You won`t loose any of your snaps. They will stay in My Pictures folders… What I have done is install a second hard drive & keep the snaps there until I need them. Then your C-Drive works faster & if it gets a virus your snaps are safe…
It was Plymouth but not the original, obviously. If it had been Camelfor you wouldn’t have been able to see the sign from that distance for the fog and rain!
