Footbrake to start

Which models of tractor unit require the footbrake to be pressed in order to start the engine? I can start it off with Iveco S way.

It would help as well to know which don’t.

Thanks in advance.

Very important to know. I’ll keep checking back for updates.

I think lots of Trucks require the footbrake to slow down.

Hope that’s helpful.

Massey Ferguson tractor, David Brown,

Once we have the complete list it’ll be another one to print off and laminate and carry with you. Don’t want to be pressing the brake pedal needlessly.

I pressed the brake pedal once, wished I’d known about it earlier…

I never met any truck that need the brake pedal depressed in order to start up
