Foolish plans of youth

I can’t see this working out for them at all, especially as they have it in the local rag rather than keeping their profile low.

It appears the new Oxford pad is in Redbridge HGV and coach parking.

I agree they should have kept quiet about what they’re doing, now they’ve gone public it’s probably only a matter of time until someone finds some obscure bylaw that forbids people living on car parks.

Yep it’s like everything else, if you find a way around something, some stupid regulation or a restrction at work, or have some sort of scam going on.. .golden rule…
Keep it to yourself !

Some people just have to boast about something to show how clever they are by ‘‘beating the system’’
Then it invariably bites them on the arse by them gobbing off about it…especially drivers btw.

I was on Redbridge last month and this knackered old piece of scrap was parked at the far end of the spaces and its had it. My first thought was that someone had dumped it! Oxford council will not tolerate these weirdo’s! £3000 to tow it from Liverpool? Nortons on the docks wouldn’t even take it!

As Robroy puts it “beat the system”.

Yeah, until the council comes along and shuts the coach park and another good parking spot gone.

And yes I am as cynical as Robroy

There’s tons of these bar stewards on the youtubes showing off about “how to beat the system”. As if youtube/ g00gle aren’t part of the system and aren’t tracking everything. If you’ve got a good thing going, it’s human nature to brag about it: I just wish they’d STFU because they’re ruining what paltry “retirement plans” I’ve got left.
