was on you tube remeniscing about the old food,saw birds eye grillsteaks,all hot greasy and juicy,slid off the spatula, thought"fancy that".said to debbie “get some of them grillsteaks”.licking my lips looking forward to them and they where dry like a ■■■■■■■ rusk.all the foods been ruined by the doo gooders in this country
I think it’s just cost that has done it nowadays, people’s expectation of cheap food. Unfortunately cheap usually means poor quality. The age old phrase you get what you pay for is usually true.
That’s why butchers have had a resurgence in the last year or so because the processed meat you buy is rubbish.
Birds eye being a prime example, you see the tv ad showing lovely fish portions & then open the box & it’s oblong!!!

Pic on box show the fish nice and big, get home open box fish is nice and ■■■■■■■ small 
Too right it’s the advertising wallahs luring you in with lovely pictures on the packaging, you get home and open it & you feel like doing a Michael Douglas in Falling Down.
Shame there’s not more prosecutions for misleading packaging in this country.
It’s just like the red light district, they put the tasty ones in the window but you end up chewing on some old slimy bacon in the ‘restaurant’
