Fog/rain/fog/rain/fog/rain....

Doesn’t even sound similar does it,but still car drivers switch on their rain lights as soon as it starts fogging :imp:

my favourites are the ones with no lights on at all blasting down lane 3. you can almost bet your arse its a silver/grey coloured car too.

I hear you bro cant see you for the dazzle …

On the other hand they don’t call them FOG lights any more they is called High insensitivity rear lights :open_mouth:

The missing word FOG means they use them at any time even in perfectly dry conditions at night …Boils my blood though more so when you flash vehicles with them on and they appear totally brain dead that they have them on … :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

I drive my own & mind my own, don’t give a zb about car drivers, let them get on with it…:exclamation:

Cool story bro…

I had one sitting behind me in a massive cloud bust, spray everywhere, no lights whatsoever.

I thought it depended on whether visibility was less than 100 metres, not the cause of the vision impairment.

A downpour on a motorway can throw up loads of spray, which is basically water droplets in the air and therefore fundamentally the same as mist/fog. High intensity lights might therefore be considered necessary by some if visibility is seriously reduced. Probably wise in the short term I’d say.

The problem comes when people don’t turn them off again, and my real bugbear is those who drive with front fogs on all the time.

fog light’s should only be used when visibility is less than 100 yard’s/ metre’s not in rain snow or sun or just for the sake of it

Good to see that some people read the Highway Code:)
Those that don’t are the ones that usually complain.

Some now double up as DRLs, I don’t like them:(
