Brilliant! A completely unique and original thread for once. Fog lights! Why haven’t we done this before? This is going to be great.
sarcasm,cannot beat it

Fog is just water droplets, as is rain…
Fog lights not as annoying as the imbeciles who drive down the motorways with their full beams on, blinding every poor sod and oblivious to all other road users flashing them.

Why do so many trucks have as many as ten extra driving lights mounted above the windscreen and on the front grille, I,ve managed to survive over 30 years driving trucks with just the two headlights!
the ones on the front grill are to combat this problem (the fog lights ) if they don’t switch off their fog lights just flick on the main beams with extra spots . Most drivers figure it out inside 30 seconds - problem solved
Fog lights hurt. Emergency Services blue lights really hurt, especially when you’re on a dead straight stretch of motorway, and you have them in your field of view for a few minutes and it’s pitch black. But the worst thing I’ve come across was that sodding Coke “festive” truck. About 8 billion watts, and 0.00000001 mph quicker than me, except for uphill, when I kept catching it back up. Had to pull off and take a 15 in the end, as we were both off to Glasgow, and I was beginning to get a migraine

I got passed by a subby pulling a sainsbury’s trailer (think it was) that was blinged up to the nines with lights, actually blinded the ■■■■ out of me tbh when your driving at 2am with little traffic, funny thing was he didn’t have a bulb in his indicator.

If there is a ton of spray beginning kicked up like it was on Monday then fogs are ok.
No they arn’t mate, they are for when visiblity is less than 100m and all the spray in the world isn’t going to bring visibility below that.

for fogs.Other times that they are acceptable,
Company photoshoots,
Truck shows,
Not when you want to drive along with a giant ball of dazzling light and spray.
Just try and think of fog light use in direct connection with ■■■■■ size
it has been published in many a medical tome that the over use the 1st
leads to shrinkage in the 2nd.
Classic lol
It’s strange though how they feel that visibility is bad enough that they need Rear Fogs, but not bad enough that they need to slow down.
I have used front fogs in heavy fog , they make no ■■■■■■■ difference…
No purpose apart from bling.
I would support a compulsory and automatic 20mph limiter when for lights switched on.
