Just wondering if you can buy foglight protectors for the bottom fog/spotlights on an xf105? Its not the plastic bezel I’m after but just wondered if there was a stoneguard available to stop stones smashing the lights.
TIA

Though stones do break the lights, they can also break due to a hat cycle ,I can’t remember he exact wording used .If you ever have one broken ,you can get a LED replacement DRL from the dealer ,it is sold under the TRP brand ,which are more resilient and are easy to retro fit …
But to your original question ,yes I have seen protectors fitted ,though on the 105 I have only noticed a wire mesh protector

Are the wire mesh protectors available from DAF or are they likely to be homemade as this is along the lines I was thinking.
Give me 5 mins and i’ll see if I can get the part number
Mesh protector is 1822556
Sealent to hold mesh in place 0905259
Easy wipe 0887354
You remove plastic trim from bumper ,give a clean with wipe and then use the sealant to basically glue the mesh in place
If you fancy fitting the tougher LED replacements 0908454 I think is the number, don’t think they re that expensive to be honest and will probably be plug and play
Also they will be in the TRP catalogue
