Hi Larry could have been, there was two 6 wheeler,s at that time. Bob Brown & Alan Smith drove them, regard,s Gordon.
Orpwoods were big Foden users at one time, I reckon that they have called it a day with lorries now though.
Pete.

There was a restored 4 wheeler in Orpwoods livery knocking about, ain’t seen it for a while though, Orpwoods probably called it a day when all the collieries closed?
I have been lent a photograph by a friend David C. It shows a 6 wheeled Foden tractor unit run by T T B (Haulage) Ltd which of course was T T Boughton of Little Chalfont near Amersham, Bucks. I found lots of interesting info when I googled the name. David says he thinks the picture was taken about 1966/67. He also says that Boughtons main business was manufacturing winches for tugs. He remembers some were on Fodens and used for pulling trees out after being cut down. The Foden pictured is hauling precast concrete beams at a time when the London overspill towns of Andover and Basingstoke were being developed and he thinks the beams were for bridges. David says the chap in the photo is his uncle Fid whose full name was Dennis Spong sometimes also known as Fiddy. He would be surprised if there was still anyone out there who remembers him but maybe someone has knowledge of the company or its operations at that time.
So come on, lets get the old grey matter working. He also said Fiddy became involved later with the all terrain vehicles being developed by the company.
SNR140 looks like a retired breedon and cloud hill lorry
