Hi oily, Ive done a bit of research on this, Its a WHITLOW TJ 5 Timber Hauler, It would be interesting to know how it powered the rear axle, Regards Larry.
Chain drive Larry, and a Gardner 5LW engine. I saw it at Brighton many years ago when Hardwick’s owned it.

Right Larry, found another one of Ronnie’s pics, side on and with a mention off Whitlow, am guessing that’s an anchor underneath, which of course means a winch somewhere as well, mebbe windrush can clue us up a bit more having seen the machine.

It must be 30+ years since I saw it! Anyway, only 14 were made and there are three more pics of it on the site in the link below and yes, there is a winch on the rear.
