I don’t remember Tony Kent (AK transport) running that Foden unit, most of the fleet were powder tankers? Possibly it was one he ‘inherited’ following his seperation from Sellers and Kent as they were big Foden users?Pete.

Is that Dig wandering around the back of the Co-ord jigger, tapping the tyres?

Nice pictures but to my mind Chinese Sixes just didn’t look right somehow. A bit like a bloke with a trilby hat on sideways.

Well the S60 looks like it has had something heavy dropped on the cab roof.

Dont recall wandering at Co Ords but maybe pub occasionally but definitely wandered around this old girl a few times and if she loaded in front of me I/m afraid the ■■■■■■■ was a poor match for the Detroit.

My cousin bought his uncle’s pre '63 Mk 1 mini with the number plate OAF666. Should have kept it.

The S20 looks like it may have been on “yard duty”.
Even a a school kid in late 60s early 70s I don’t remember seeing many S20 cabs around.
Crabtrees from New Mills (4th pic) were big users of Foden’s, they are still in business today and the fleet retains the same livery.
Pete.
